Be Quiet!

Be Quiet! didn't have much new to show us. After all, they'd shown off quite a lot at Computex already. We did get a bit more information of the new Straight Power 10 PSUs, however.


As we said before at Computex, these PSUs are 80 Plus Gold rated and available in 400-700W capacities or 500-800W for the CM versions (cable management, i.e. modular) in 100W increments. They will replace the existing Straight Power E9 PSUs but with the aim of being quieter and having better voltage regulation.


Helping on the noise front is the new Silent Wings 3 135mm fan, as well as the PSU chassis itself which helps increase air pressure. The fan has a 6 pole motor which also generates less noise too, and there are extra 105C Taepo capacitors compared to before which should have less electronic noise as well.

The PSUs will have a five year warranty and will launch in September at the same price point as the current Straight Power E9 ones.
